Very average physios. Didn't get to the root of my problem, told me I would need orthotic insoles as I had fallen archs. Paid out $600 for these orthotics from the podiatrist in the same building as I was told this would cure my problem but after wearing them for several months there was no change. After much frustration I went to see a body movement therpist at canberra movement therapy who got to the root of my problem within just one visit. After he assest my body alignment (which I thought that would be the first thing a physio would do) he found that my ankles knees and hips weren't moving properly. After a couple of strechs and movements done within this first visit to canberra movement therapy my ankles and knees loosened up and I had more of an arch in my foot when I walked, this then helped my body to stay in proper alignment.

I feel physios and podiatrists don't look at te body good enough, they don't try hard enough to get to the root of the problem. They will spend 10 minutes rubbing your muscle then throw a heat pack on there, go see to another client do the same with them and come back to you and tell you to come back next week to see how your traveling. This will go on for a long time if you let it. I spent over $1000 in sport and spinal and what a waste of money that was!
